About NotBoring

NotBoring is a Dubai creative production agency founded in 2025 by Israa. It makes cinematic and AI-generated video for brands across the GCC, and it runs the in-person AI Video Production Workshop, a course that teaches the same workflow the agency uses on client productions.

What we make

NotBoring produces brand films, AI-generated video, AI character and product visuals, UGC-style ads and short social content. Most productions combine generative tools, principally Higgsfield, with conventional creative direction: a brief, a script, a shotlist, and a director deciding what stays in the cut.

The working standard is that a viewer should not be able to tell which shots were generated. Clients include Maestro Pizza and the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation, with further work for brands across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Who runs it

Israa is the founder and creative director. She graduated in marketing and spent several years as a creative director for agencies serving E&, Tadawi, Daytoday and Peppers before founding NotBoring in 2025. She has grown the agency to more than a dozen clients across the GCC and teaches every session of the workshop herself.

The workshop

The AI Video Production Workshop is an in-person course in Dubai. Cohorts run regularly and dates are confirmed on booking. It covers 13 topics: prompting fundamentals, ideation and concept development, scripts, scenes and shotlists, the Higgsfield platform, image generation, characters and consistency, video generation, cinematic production, UGC and ad content, sound and voice, ethics, copyright and legal basics, assembly and post-production, and a final project taken from brief to a finished 30 to 60 second video.

The fee is AED 1,500. It includes a Higgsfield account for the duration of the course, a certificate of completion, and a student toolkit with prompt templates, a shotlist template, camera and lighting cheat sheets, a model selection matrix and a UGC hook swipe file.
